How to connect Drake to Filed

Follow the steps shown in the walkthrough below to connect your Drake software to Filed.

Best Practice: Installing the Filed Sync App

• The app can be installed on a workstation, and it will function properly. However, if that computer is restarted, logged out, or goes offline, the Sync App may need to be reopened and logged back in before syncing resumes.

To avoid interruptions and ensure seamless syncing, an always-on machine is the recommended setup but the app can be installed on multiple machines.

Integrate Drake

You should follow these steps and install the Filed Sync App on a computer connected to your server.

• Log in to your Filed account.

• In the left panel, go to Connect.

• Under Drake, click Connect.

• Review permissions, and click Connect.

• Click Download to save the Filed App.

• Go to your Desktop downloads , click on the Filed App download.

• Return to Filed.com to view and copy the Connection ID and Password.

• In the downloaded Filed App, paste both the ID and Password.

  • Click Sign in.

  • Select Directory to select your most current instance of Drake.

  • Click Activate Connection.

• Return to Filed.com to see Connection active. You likely won't see any activity yet since you haven't completed any returns.

• Click Done!
