Filed is designed to give preparers visibility and control before AI-generated data is synced into UltraTax CS.

How Filed helps ensure accuracy before UltraTax sync

Before data reaches UltraTax, preparers can review the data extracted from tax forms inside Filed. This gives the preparer an opportunity to validate and sign off on extracted data before it is pushed to the tax software. Please note that the 'opportunity to validate' the extracted data is only available when the user does turn on the 'automatic sending' toggle' when sending to tax software at the beginning.

Professional review requirement

In accordance with IRS Circular 230, all AI-generated data is subject to professional review and judgment. Filed supports accuracy by keeping the preparer in the validation loop before data is synced into UltraTax.

Complex item handling

For complex items, Filed can surface AI Observations and AI Review points to help preparers identify areas that need additional attention before or after UltraTax entry.
